Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The freshness of the fish stands out, with many patrons raving about the cod and haddock sourced from Scotland. The batter strikes a perfect balance, not overly thick or oily, which enhances the overall taste experience. Hand-cut chips often come topped with just the right amount of vinegar, offering a tangy twist. Spicy chicken wings provide a great alternative for those looking to switch things up, maintaining the same standard of quality as the fish and chips. Friendly service creates a welcoming vibe, earning repeat visits from satisfied customers who appreciate the thoughtfulness shown by the staff.

Most Disliked

Some diners have mentioned that the wait can be a bit longer than expected, particularly during busy hours. Though many consider the freshly prepared food worth the wait, some prefer quicker service. A few customers believe the oil level could be adjusted slightly, hoping for a bit more crunch without compromising freshness. Additionally, while the casual vibe is appealing to many, those seeking a more formal dining experience might find it less suitable for their needs.

Visited this shop on 12 Sep evening. It was my first Fish & Chips experience in London. The food took awhile to be ready but they were freshly fried, quality of fish was great... Cod and haddock tasted fresh and sweet. It didn't taste too oily and salty which I like, and paired well with the tartar sauce. I like the touch of vinegar on the chips as well, wouldn't mind having more vinegar. To top it off, the owners were so friendly and wholesome! Prices seem reasonable in the market as well!

Nice and clean take-away restaurant with very warm and considerate owners (Mohammed and Ann). The Fish and Chips and the Spicy Chicken Wings were remarkably fresh - as in made in front of us - and tasty too. Loved it. Rounded out our London experience (this time around). Wholeheartedly recommend.

This place was amazing!!! We’ve never had such good fish and chips. The fish is so fresh. The owner pulled out the fish caught fresh from Scotland. They were so nice!! The chips were freshly cut potatoes. And while we were waiting for our fish and chips, we got some chicken to munch on and everyone loved those too!!!! If you are visiting London, you MUST come check this place out!

Excellent service, considerate- gave me a plate because he thought i needed to eat on the street, small thing but thoughtful. The fish and chips were cooked pretty well with them not being soaked in oil and batter was not too thick, just right. Didn’t get that horrible, sickening feeling you get sometimes from fast food. Great food!

OMG the most amazing fish. You can taste the freshness of the fish. The batter was soft but still crunchy, the fish just fell apart was so moist, the chips were amazing and the curry sauce was just the right amount of spice. Wish we had this fish and chip shop where I live. Absolutely stunning. The quality and size is definitely worth the £12.50 fpr the fish and chips and £1.50 for the curry sauce.

Morris, the owner for 20+ years, who runs the place will give you the freshest and most tastiest fish and chips in the city! Don't forget to have the chips with vinegar and a dash of salt, so good and the price is still the cheapest hands down.
